Spring Star Party at St. Malo
CANCELLED
The 2022 Spring Star Party at St. Malo IS CANCELLED. We have our fingers crossed we can see you in Spring 2023!
The Spring Star Party is a members-only event. Become a member to join us for one of our most fun-filled events of the year, as well as taking advantage of our other membership perks!
Entry to the Park is from Highway #59, see attached map. The observing site is at latitude 49.31 longitude 96.92. Once in the park (a park pass is not required) proceed along the perimeter road to the Star Party field east of Sunset Shores Campground at Group Use Area Site 1. Note: We are being allowed special access to the park outside regular park operating dates. This privilege requires us to Leave No Trace that we were ever there. Please ensure you bring everything you need with you, and leave nothing behind but happy memories.
Registration will open March 1 2023.

Schedule
Because the equipment on display can’t help but to garner attention, we will conduct a “scope tour” where members have a chance to talk about their particular scope, mount or other piece of equipment for all the see. An observing circle will be open every night for those that wish to observe as a group! A generator will be available during daylight hours at the shelter for recharging your batteries, as well as coffee, tea, and treats! If you are fond of baking please feel free to contribute to the treats table!
